Slaton has been disappointing and hes up against a pretty good run D, but he is the number 1 option as brown continues to fumble. McCoy is a high risk high reward play in my opinion, for the same exact reason I think Celek is a bad play … They’re gonna run the ball after that lead is built, and Im pretty sure they want to ease Westbrook back …

I think Winslow is too inconisstent and will get like 2-4 pts
Celek will get like 6-12 pts. (I’m starting him).

Look for Slaton to have a breakout game (17-20)
And McCoy won’t do anything with westbrook back. (0-2)

The most influential person in my life

I fall hard on my knees praying that somehow all this is a nightmare and I’ll wake up soon. But when I open my tear filled eyes I see that it’s not a nightmare it’s real. Glaring coldly at me is a blurry grave; the grave of my best friend. I glide my hand around the engravement of the stone “ Vincent Strife 1990-2009 he lived for love and died for love.” Thee last sentence kept ringing wildly in my ear and beating my head. I let the white rose in my hand fall next to the cold stone and scream “why? Why? Why? Why you, why not me?” The earth feels like it’s moving at extreme speeds making me have motion sickness. I cry harder from confusion and frustration. After an hour of tears and odd sensations I fall asleep on my friends buried body.
When I first meet Vincent I knew he was hurting and had a hard life. He was really intimating being 6’4 and having a dark persona. He had black hair, green eyes, and was quite pale; it was like meeting a vampire. Most people were afraid of him. But I knew he was someone who could love and someone I could love. We became close friends immediately after meeting.
Vincent Strife was a mystifying muse. He could make you think long and hard about things that had never even touched your mind. He had so much care and love for someone who was never shown that. Vincent hardly trusted anyone but when he did trust you it was wholehearted trust. He had a rough life growing up, his mother left for a life with drugs and his father was an abusive drunk who later entered rehab, leaving Vincent to live with his best friend Ethan. Vincent always blamed himself for the state he was in. He would always tell us “we are responsible for our actions” but when we tried to argue with him that it wasn’t his actions but his parents that got him were he is today, he would cut us off. I never liked the way he would sell himself short of the truth, but that’s what made him his own person.
Vincent hated reality, which was understandable to me. He would always drag me across hills from 9pm till midnight in the summer to catch fireflies. I always thought it was the most out of the ordinary thing a 16year-old could do. I felt so immature catching the little flashing bug but Vincent would laugh at me and say “why are you like that nobody is watching?” I would make excuses that were too old to be doing something so childish but he wouldn’t have it “Cassie, you have to let lose once in awhile otherwise you will never LIVE!” Even though Vincent was only playing around, it effected me because I knew he was right. I spent my whole life playing it save, so from that night on I did every silly crazy thing he wanted me to do.
When I was with Vincent I felt like a little kid again. We would climb trees, graffiti trains, make up alter egos for each other, and be as irresponsible as I have ever been. We also had our share of discipline from guardians and parents. He would always have a way of speaking to persuade people to take it easy on us both. It still amazes me when I reminisce back to the time he would get us a light punishment or no punishment at all with his smooth talk. One time that especially comes to my mind is when we graffiti a train with our alter ego names and an evil fire fly, and a cop caught us. He took us home with a stern warning. My parents and Ethan’s mom where furious. But Vincent, his sweet talk and a long speech about the need for adolescence to express their creativity, got us out of a well-deserved punishment.
On December 23, 2007 at exactly 3:30am. Vincent and I were chasing each other on a hill we called our kingdom of darkness, when a certain question that was nagging me came busting up. “What does it feel like?” When Vincent saw my serious face his went serious. “What?” He replied “ real pain… I know you have felt it.” He let out a long drawn out sigh as if he were trying to exhale the past. “It feels like having your right arm chopped off but year later you can still feel the burning pain long after it’s gone and it feels like it spreads through your veins and messes up the rest of it.” I felt bold after this and asked
“ Can you fix it?”
“Only if you allow someone to.”
“Can I fix it?”
“You already have.”
I remember exactly how I felt after he said that. For once I felt needed, like my life was actually worth something. The next day just proved that, because the next day Vincent got the news that his father died in rehab from a secret myth addiction. He died 5 minutes after midnight.
Vincent didn’t take the news well; he didn’t speak to anyone for nearly 4 weeks. I felt his pain in the very pit of my stomach. Whenever I even thought about it I’d feel bile come up my throat burning my mouth.
When I saw Vincent again we embraced for a long time. He never cried in front of me before but that day he let lose a single tear and I respected him for that.

I’m sure you will get lots of help with the relatively few grammatical and spelling errors. They aren’t huge, and they are easily fixed. You also need to get this broken up into paragraphs. Maybe that’s just a formatting problem from posting it here–it appears to be well-organized and flows in a logical fashion. I’d help with the minor polishing but I don’t have time right now to give it the attention it deserves.

I DID want to tell you it was very movingly written, without being maudlin. Nice job! He sounds like a great friend, and I’m sure you miss him and will never forget him.

This question is for people who have suffered from having a low self esteem and low self confidence in the past, i’m just curious as to ways YOU personally, developed high self confidence and high self respect? What helped you achieve it?

I still struggle with it, but tbh what worked for me is (and this comes from a therapist) just to stop thinking about other people. Stop thinking about they’re thinking, where they’re going in their lives, all about them and their hopes and dreams etc.
And turn all that thinking time in on yourself. What do you want? Where are you going? What do you want to do right now? What going to make you feel good right now. And ignore the contents of anyone else’s head.
Really, stop caring about anything else except you.

Sound callous and selfish doesn’t it? But it doesn’t work like that (well didn’t for me) – made me more productive, less anxious, more social and I can relate much better to people because.

Dunno, difficult to explain really.

Ok, so Yesteray I was so excited , I finally got my BFP !! I’m pregnant.. It took us almost 20 months .. So in ttc I had tons of left over pregnancy tests .. To confirm the positive, I took a first response gold digital, it came up positive but it took FOREVER , I took a first response early result test and it was faint but positive , I took a blue dye EPT instantly positive , I took a clear blue digital, pregnant result .. So I wanted to take more so I could take fresh pictures for a keep sake book the next morning, today … I took 1 EPT ,2 FRER ( one was defective ) 1 clear blue digital and one first response gold digital, again I know I am pregnant, I was just taking them to get fresh pics for the memory/keep sake book . So All of them came up positive right away, including the clearblue digital … Except for the two first response tests .. The first regular first response did not work .. like the control line was super light and nothing but a thick white line showed up in the test area.. So I took the other one from that pack and it showed up positive right away but still super faint, lighter then the night before … Also the first response digital came up negative this morning as well.. it was positive last night .. Still like I said, the clear blue digi,ept and regular FRER was positive right away as well as an internet cheepie was positive as well . I am just concerned that thw first response digi came up negative… So… I have like 100 tests ( I bought them in bulk ) I waited 4 hours and re took them this afternoon .. ( I know I am crazy and once again I was only taking them to get clean new pics that had not turned yellow yet ) The clear blue digital came up positive within 20 seconds, the EPT came up positive instantly , still light but you don’t need to squint to see it, I also took another first response early result regular test, it came up instantly positive, slightly darker then it was this morning.. but the FRER gold digital still came up negative ? Why would this be ? if it came up positive yesterday afternoon ? but the two of that brand were negative today when I took them.. Again ALL other tests I took from 5 other brands were positive before the time limit was over …. Do I need to worry or do you think that maybe my pee was more concentrated yestersay afternoon and that the first response digital is maybe less sensitive then the clear blue digital ? I know I sound obsessive.. but I am just a little worried.. because it took us so long .. I’m not having any pains, no bleeding.. just a tiny amount of super light brown dishcharge once when I wiped .. I am only 12 or 14 DPO , so it could still be implantation bleeding … but am I ok ? What do you guys think about the test situation ? Thanks !!!

Don’t freak out, breath….deep….breaths.

I had a ton of spotting with both my pregnancies before the 7 week mark. And I mean gushing I thought I had lost the baby bleeding.

But I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 3 month old who are very healthy and happy little nuggets. So bleeding or discharge with a brown tinge doesn’t necessarily a problem with the pregnancy make.

As for the tests I used the damn cheepest ones on the shelf and they worked great. I am sorry but paying 15 dollars for a pregnancy test is insanity. I work at a doctors office and if they’re not doing a HCG blood test, they’re dipping a test that costs about a buck each into your pee. I should know, I order them for my office. And they work great.

Get a blood test from your doc to confirm your pregnancy and if you are super worried as I was when I had scares in both pregnancies, get an ultrasound to check the status of the zygote in your belly.
